Round trip Edmonton to New Brunswick

Just got back from a trip across the country to attend my in-laws 50th anniversary celebration. We decided to make a vacation of it and drive it with the trailer. About 11k km round trip. I'm suprised to say, no mechanical problems for the entire trip. Truck ran great. 6.0 diesel did it's job and managed 11 to 12 mpg hauling about 5 tons. Fuel prices ranged from - Edmonton the lowest @ 78.9 / liter to western Ontario $1.22 / liter as the highest. (we carried an extra 400 liters from home on board) Most of the other provinces we .95 to 1.02 per liter. Lots of road construction along the way. All the signs in Quebec are in french only, Montreal is a traffic nightmare even at 2 in the morning and we got stuck behind a house being moved along the way.

All in all... a great trip... and in this day of speed and instant gratification; I'm glad we took our time to smell the roses along the way.
