35x12.50x20 toyo M/T's, Bilsteins on all 4 corners, Dual bilstein stabalizer review
It was a 3 part process. Got tires installed, $1500 out the door. Tire shop they balanced as good as a set of 15" tires. The wheel had very little shake if any and the ride was very much improved over the goodyear wrangler rts. Seems the wranglers got harder as they wore but just my opinion. Truck seemed to wander quite a bit. The WIFE hated it and refused to drive it!!! (thinking back maybe i shouldnt have told her about the stabalizer fixing it...more about that later)
Got a leveling kit from Newton Lifts. Have read alot of good things about them on here and thats why i went with him. It is a 2" spacer underneath the coil mount in the front, spacers for the trac bar, brake line mount reloc., spacers for the bump stops, .5" carier spacer and 2.5" rear blocks with new ubolts and nuts. Was easy to install went on in about 2 hours and 6 beers. Also straightened the steering wheel myself it was 90 deg. out when lift was installed. Also installed the longer front bilsteins at this time. They were for a leveling kit and bought from top gun customz. Truck drove a little better but still wandered after this.
Went on a 1400 mile trip and it rode better than ever in the front! The backs were on backorder and still havent been installed. It still wandered but it rode really nice.
After getting back i ordered the dual bilstein stabalizer from top gun customz. One word. WOW this truck drives better than new.
Tires are not as loud as i thought. For instance i keep my stock radio on 4 and it is plenty loud enough.
Rears are going on as soon as we get a little cooler weather!!!
The guys at Top Gun Customz told me they dont run shock boots on any of their stuff. Stabalizers or shocks. He when dirt gets in it wont get out. What do you guys think?
Also id post pics but it wont let me. Says i dont have permission
Thanks
