2011 pricing
it seems like ford is just not putting out many 6.7's right now. I don't think any dealer in my area has anymore than 4 2011 6.7's in stock. alot of the smaller dealerships have the 60k trucks but thats about it. what is the deal how come there are so few trucks on the lots.
I emailed a salesmen and said I was interested but wanted to only pay invoice price for the truck less incentives. I didn't even get a response to the email. anyone had any luck with an offer like this??

$100 over invoice is common, I just did it too.
When you say inventory of 4 trucks I immediately think Wow, that's a lot of trucks. Distribution and allocation are monitored VERY closely so as to avoid trucks sitting on lots and in yards. FoMoCo is making money and one way is controlling the supply to the demand with the supply being a thin margin over demand.

Got mine for invoice minus 1500 in incentives. I've heard of others dealing for accessories on top of that. I'm going to try when it shows up in a couple weeks. I'm in salt lake. Not many on lots and I've only seen one driving, but i know they are out there...every dealer I talked to said they are selling faster than they can get them in. And lots of us ordering vs buying off the lot.

hey I am in salt lake too, what dealer did you buy your truck from?? the dodge is pucking oil everywhere I may need a new truck sooner rather than later. 94k miles 7k in out of pocket repairs, and now I have a severe oil leak coming from the bell housing area, maybe a rear main seal, or worse engine blow by. dodge never again.

Google Woodhouse Ford in Blair, Nebraska. They claim to be the largest F series dealer in the USA. I believe them. I was working out there for 2 months and while there the old 6.0 decided to act up twice. I went over there to look. They had 77 2010 F350 diesels and 85 F250 diesels in stock. When I returned to pick up a trim decal that was missing at delivery, they had received 8 more trucks in the 5 days after I bought mine. They also had 56 2010 6.4 trucks on the lot. They deliver all over the country. I bought my truck from them and was pleased with the transaction.

It's a sneaky little add that you could miss if you aren't paying attention. Look for VTR (vehicle theft recovery) or something of the sort. They add it at the top of the buyer's order so it almost looks like a factory cost. Mine was $495! When I told them that wasn't necessary, the F&I guy started his pitch at how valuable it is and I just shook my head and said no thanks. I hate that kind of stuff. They probably sell junk like that on half the deals. Other than that... LHM Ford is a great place. Great service during the sale and great follow-up by the service dept after the sale.

I don't remember exactly, but it was just transferring the truck from the dealer to me in some database...at least that's what they said. It is NOT something like Lojack. My sales guy eventually told me it wasn't necessary but that he couldn't tell me that. If you haven't bought yet, don't let them sneak it in.

They tried to charge me $495.00 and I told them to shove it. All that I could find were some numbers ectched into the window glass. I guess if you pay for it, they register the numbers into some data base.
