Heck, if I was 2500 miles closer and had more than the 75 cents I have in my pocket I'd have that truck in my driveway even if it has a manure grill 😝

It's in Chevron or Standard Oil livery, maybe Amoco. I don't think it will last long. Sweet!

I've seen several similar type trucks around older smaller airports. I think they cut the cabs down so that they could get nearer the planes without crashing into the wings.

Sure would be a neat truck

I'm thinking those fog lights are one red light and a siren. Kinda free-spending with our tax dollars, what with that optional exterior mirror and RH wiper! LOL

Found another pic of it:

Those are the 'Never Summer' mountains in the background.

Beav, The second photo is later. That's a '53-'56 truck. Cool photos. My middle son is a park ranger at Yellowstone. He would like to work at Rocky Mountain National Park.

They must have had a lot of weight on the back to get traction through that snow.

The second truck is a 55-56 due to it sheild taillight, which came out in 1955.

I wonder what color the they were? the second one looks to be two tone...

My guess would be a police/two way radio.
