I have gone 100% with the leatherique products and they are top of the line. As long as you condition it good you should be fine and will darken up somewhat. However, I have thought about buying some good seat covers for when I decide to camp or atv ride, as I could mess them up using my truck then.

Well what a local shop should be able to do, depending on where, is replace that piece. Usually what they use is part of the back of the seat......so it matches perfect, then they replace the back of the seat with another close matching leather. I think my lexus cost around 75-100$ to fix the bolister.

I know the dealers can get the seat covers individually, but you'd better be sitting down when they tell you how much they are. Non-KR stuff is stupid expensive,and I'm sure the KR stuff is far worse.
