Add a leaf question

I saw in the Bronco Graveyard catolog they have a add a leaf. Well I was thinking about adding a leaf all the way around my truck they said that the leaf would raise the truck 3"-3.5". I believe that would be perfect for what I want. I'm just concerned about the TTB axle on truck I believe it is the 50 that the larger one isn't it? Also I'm going to have 33" or 35" tires. Will the alignment be ok or would it have to have some drop brackets in the middle? Oh it is a 89 F250 HD.

with the dana 50 TTB (or dana 44 TTB), when an add a leaf is installed, the tires will wear unevenly. when looking at the front of the truck, the 2 front tires will look like a "V" causing excessive wear to the outside of the tires. the hinge/pivot point of the TTB axle needs to be lowered to fix this. if you want a lift with this axle, you are better off buying new lift springs that come with the pivot drop and are designed to work together.

but the best fix of all is a solid axle dana 60 swap from an F350.

and fyi - all the front add a leafs i've ever seen offer a lift of 1.5-2.5 inches. i've never seen one offering a lift of 3-3.5 inches.
