Up and Runiing Again.( Brake Line)In-Tank Mod's

Well 2 days later I am Back and running or should I say Stopping Again.. I Had to buy 3 sections of line in order to do it,12ft 3 inches.. and a hell of a lot of bends.. I put the old line in a vise laid new line over it and started bending.. I Dont wish that on anyone.. anyhow I went ahead and did the in-tank mod's while I had the tank out..I got all the items from different stores here spent around $90.00 made my Bracket ,and all mounted up and running.. something I did do is before the final Hose connection at the pump, I filled a Quart oil bottle with diesel, put a nipple from a 90wt bottle on it and forced the diesel back thru the filter to the tank.. I did this till All the Air was out of the line, then slipped line back on pump..
I cycled the key several times, and the ole girl is purrin like a kitten, either my hearing is going south or the truck is running quieter all ready.. no problems what so ever. Thanks FTE for all the Info needed to do such mod's..

Congrats on getting the job done. That's a pretty clever idea about back filling the line with fuel so the pump can pull the diesel out and re-fill the lines. How many gallons of fuel did you have in the tank when you did this?

I put around 15 gal in the tank be fore back filling the line.. you can hear the air escaping back into the tank .. used 3/4 of a quart till air was bleed out of line..

Congrats. I have my in-tank kit sitting in the shop waiting for me to have some spare time. Good idea on purging the air. Believe I will put that to use when I put mine in.
