high pitch squeal, nat the belts. What could it be?

get a 2 foot piece of 5/8 heater hose and put one end to your ear and the other to different parts of the engine........also the iacv has been known to make a squeal

I say cam sensor.
I had a 3.0 destroy the cam sensor gear and caused the oil pump to seize. I'd take a look at the sensor drive gear and make sure it's in good shape.
My opinion of the 3.0 cam sensor design is that it is a major weak link in the motor and terrible engineering design. The motor was intended to have a distributor where the cam sensor is. If a distributor stops (and oil pump too) the engine stops running. This is NOT the case with the cam sensor. If the cam sensor/oil pump stops turning the motor keeps going and commits suicide.

If you come to find it's the cam sensor, these folks don't recommed a Dorman.
