yeah, Isuzu P'UP. It is a 1.8 liter Isuzu engine coupled to a 3spd automatic. 80 HP woohoo. However, it is all I can afford atm, and so I will try and get it.

 

na, its pre p'up. think the pup started in the 80's. for the life of me, i cant remember what the isuzu was called. ill look for pics on my dads computer.

 

Should be a turtle no matter what it was called, my Ranger had the 2.3 in it with a whopping 75hp, and it was a turtle, even with the 5 spd tranny. The extra weight, and friction of the 4x4 didn't help. This one has the auto trans which I don't like, but again, beggars can't be choosers. But, I have already checked into the Luvtruck forum, and there are plenty of Buick V6 engine swaps for these things, so I might do that when finances permit.

edit: Well, according to Wikipedia the LUV was the first Isuzu vehicle to be imported into the US.

 

are you paying less to register your say f100 compared to an f250 3/4 ton?

last year my 79 f100 2wd was 79 now its 99 + smog

my 79 f250 4x4 was 270 something ahh!!!!
