All kidding aside, we have a 2011 F450 we use as for our car carrier buisness. Truck is purely amazing, I don't see the "much improved mpg's" but this thing is a towing beast!!!

Naw, these horsepower statements are company (Ford) wide. You've got a V-6 Mustang at 300+ HP. A mustang GT at 400+. Not to mention the Shelby with 540. A full size sedan in the Taurus SHO with 365 HP from a puny 3.5 Liter twin turbo. Performance definitely lives at the Ford Motor Company.

i'm a 70 year old gearhead who has had a lot of trucks over the years including dodge 12'vs and 24's .chevy duramaxes and i am now driving an 03 6.0 ,an early one .i have not done a thing to it to improve performance.it has 178,000 miles on it now and all i have done to it is 1 i.c.p. an alternator and ball joints. the total package of this truck beats all my previous trucks. including my 7.3 idi's and my powerstrokes.
