Noisy mechanical oil pressure gauge!

Noisy mechanical oil pressure gauge!
I suspect low oil pressure in my 88 F350 and didn't trust the stock gauge so today I installed a mechanical gauge to confirm the problem. Spent about an hour installing the gauge and took to truck for a drive and dang! This gauge make tons of noise! This is my first experience with a mechanical oil pressure gauge so I was just curious if this rattling noise is normal for this type of gauge of if I did something wrong?
Gauge is a Sunpro from Autozone and I also used the copper tubing kit.

I get a little noise from mine too. Make sure that the copper tubing is not resting on any part of the engine between the pressure port and the gauge. You can also try putting a small loop in the tubing right before it goes through the firewall into the cab (like the coil in brake lines). That should help reduce noise too.
