I am trying to change my rear drum brakes on a 91 F350 4wd dually. I have taken out the axle but I believe there is a lock ring around the spindle that is supposed to come out but I am not sure how to remove it. Below is a picture and if you have any experience or think you might know how then please reply. There is no lock ring, that is a special nut that ratchets/ clicks as you turn it. If you have the right 4-prong socket, just stick it in there and turn it counter clockwise like normal if your on the pass. side, or clockwise on the drivers side(reverse thread).
