Thanks for your help guys!!! I replaced the lpo switch oil guage came up. I'm embarresed to say this but the squelling was the improper placement of the egr seal to the manifold. Now I'm confussed because the truck is missing. Hope it throws a code so I can read it.

without them, it's like calling someone up on the phone, and telling
them what you see in the rear view mirror, and they tell you what
to do next to parallell park.

and some folks say... "are they expensive?"
NOT having them is expensive.

red adair had a really good comment attributed to him:
if you think hiring a professional is expensive, try hiring an amateur."

if you are gonna take a cheese whiz approach to fixing the stuff
the motor has to have fixed to live long and prosper, it isn't gonna
go well... it's tricky enough with the desire to do it right.

another forum had some guy saying he want's more power from his
PSD, but he is only willing to spend $85-$145 MAX.... he asked for
suggestions..... i recommended starting fluid sprayed into the intake.

No problem Tammy, glad you got that part figured out. When you saw low oil pressure, and then a squealing, I certainly can't blame you for panicking and shutting it down.

As far as the missing you have now, how much have you run it? Some missing for a while is normal after the high pressure oil system has been opened up. There is a bit of air that needs to work through the system, and it has nowhere to go except through the injectors. So let it run for a while. High idle if you have that set up. See what you have after an hour.

By the way, is Tammy female? If so, my hat is off to you for tackling this job. Actually my hat is off to everyone who works on these buggers.
