YUP the rims off the 95 should fit with no problems!

infact any 8 lug up to 1998 Ford should fit, and any 8 lug from chevy and dodge up to current should be the same as well !

You may have some hub clearance issues with certain rims, but anything is fixable with the right tools.

I thought 97 was the move to metric bolt patterns? Anyway...you need an 8x6.5 bolt pattern. I can't remember which uses what, but I know between Ford, Dodge, Chevy...that there was a difference between hubcentric and lugcentric rims...so those are the clearance issues mentioned above.

Ford used 8 on 6.5 from beginning of time till 97.
Ford went to thee metrick 8 on 170mm in 99(the superduty)
If you noticed there were no such thing as a 8 lug 98

Chevy is 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern but their center huba on a 88 to current are typically small.

Dodge used a 8 on 6.5 patten as well. Their hub center i have never run into an issue.

Aftermarket wheels typicall have a big enough center hub to fit the big 3

Ok thanks I will check bout getting them. On the wheels does it matter if they are steel or Alum.? I was told that steel wheels are best for towing & hauling & that Alum. wheels can't handle the weight. A tire store in town told me the Alum. wheels are for looks only an can't handle the weight on a heavy tow or heavy hauling that steel OEM wheels were the best to go.

If it's a Ford stock rim, it should be able to handle the weight. If it's aftermarket, who knows.

I once had a heck of a time getting a set of Chevy (or was it Dodge?) rims to fit over the front hubs of my highboy Fun Fun Fun... back to the junkyard I went.

Most wheels will have a weight rating cast into the wheel

The 8 lug 16x7 steel rims I have on my 73 F250 camper special are off of a 2006 Econoline E250 van. Ford never changed the vans to metric.

Ford wheels changed over time with most notibly how the wheel covers and hub caps attach for example, but the bolt pattern remained the same untill it changed in 1997/1998.

Typically these years are interchangeable 8 Lug on 6.5.

Going from memory...

1948-1952 F-2 and F-3.
1953-1956 F-250 and F-350 (Has clips to hold hub caps)
1957-1996 F-250 and F-350 (Has dimples to hold the hub caps)
1997 F-250HD and F-350

The 1997 F-250 (Non-HD) and 1998 and newer has metric wheels and will not work.

This is true, the Econoline Van wheels will work with the F-series.

The last Major Redesign of the Econoline Van was in 1992. It's due again as that was 18 years ago now.

The 1975-1991 Econoline was based on the 1973-1979 pickup design, and lasted 16 years with a lot of swappable parts.
