Hello to all you fello Super Duty drivers.....I just picked up my 2010 F-250 Lariat Crew Cab SB SRW 6.4 Diesel on Friday and love it. I see what you are saying they are going for down there in your neck of the woods and it seems awefully high. Mine had a sticker price (MSRP) of $56,100 but the dealer was marking them down $12-13K off of MSRP. We ended up paying $41,500 which was a lot better than $56,100. I think they are really trying to unload these before the end of the year and the lots are filled with the 2011 models. It may be worth your while to do broaden your search. If you can save an additional $4-5K, that will pay for a lot of gasoline......

Regarding the mileage.....I have only put 350 miles on mine as of today but I am getting 13.6 on short trips and in town driving and am getting 16.8-18.6 on the highway depending on the speed. The speed limit up here is 75MPH on the freeways. I noticed really quick that you lose most of your mileage when the engine is cold until it warms up and during takeoffs from a dead stop. Once you get the beast moving the mileage is pretty consistant.

Here is the link to the dealer I just bought mine at and you can see they have signs in the windows markingthem down $13,000 off of MSRP....

and.. nothing to be sorry about.. just want to be able to help you as much as we can..

eventually you might want to put pics in your 'garage' to show off your vehicle(s).. the garage is in your profile.. can get to it from the same blue bar..

Choices

Glockem45,

I live in Maryland and searched the area for a good deal. There was a VA dealer that had a 10 F350 Lariat Gray/Ebony 4x4 LB 6.4 for $43K. I ended up in Houston, TX and bought my 10 F250 Lariat CC SB 4x4 6.4 MSRP for $54K for $41K. They had a pearl white one left. If you post what you are looking for maybe one of us has seen it on a lot and can lead you to it.
FYI, I confirmed that Ford rebates are dependent on where you are registering the truck and not where you buy it. Because I live in my zip code, I did not qualify for the XLT regional rebate nor the extra $1000 most of the rest of the country gets.

Good luck.

Sam,

I picked up the 2010 SRW yesterday. What a pretty truck and a long one at that. I am so glad I didn't get a DRW because this one is hard enough to park as it is. Also, I am going to sideswipe someone because I am having a hard time with the dual mirrors. I want to look at the upper mirror but the hiding cars are picked up in the bottom mirrors, which I am not used to at all.

I will post up a new thread about the truck shortly, once I detail it and get some good pictures of it otherwise I can't do it justice.

great news!! yes, DRWs add to the fun.. I am looking at a 2010 f350 SRW LB as well.. rebates are tough to ignore..

don't need the drw, could use the 4x4 and the better gear ratio and bigger wheels can improve fuel mileage just enough

and, the mirrors are amazing once you get used to them.. just wish they had autodim for those long nighttime highway drives.. they are so big they collect all light, and blast it right in your eyes!!. power adjust makes it less ugly.. but, just sayin

DRW = Dual rear wheels
SRW = Single rear wheels
