hey guys, im looking into doing the maf conversion and have done some research and its looking like i need to pretty much go with a eec from a 95-96 f150 eec for my 93 f150 e40d so i was wondering if anyone knew where i might be able to find one of these with the harness

 

You want a '94 or '95 EEC and harness for the easiest conversion, the '96 is OBD-2 and the harness is much bigger(104 pins versus 60) which means you would have to swap out the complete vehicle wiring harness.

 

did 94 come with maf?

 

Yes the F-series did come with MAF in 1994 if they had a E4OD or 4R70W transmission and were also 5.0L. All others had MAP sensors.
The 1995 5.8L did have MAF if it was a California truck.

 

Any FYI.. you can use a 5.0 EEC with a 5.8 engine or vise versa.. it will adapt in short period of time.
