I'm coming to visit America from Australia. Meet up? Any have a truck i can buy/hire?

Sorry for posting in multiple threads

So i'm flying over on the 14th July, and will be leaving on the 10th August. It'll be my first time in the US

Base of operations will be Austin, Texas, but i'm sure ill travel around a bit.

So a few things...

I'd like to buy or hire a cheap truck for the month i am visiting, if anyone has something let me know

If anyone want to meet up for beer, truck-related stuff, show me around, or just whatever, that would be awesome.

Can anyone recommend things i should do/see while im over?

If anyone would like anything from Australia, let me know as i will be coming over with an empty suitcase, so i can fill it with truck parts on my way home

I'm also into trucks, hunting, camping, motorbikes, and pretty much anything on the extreme side.

It would be great to meet some of you guys in person and do some stuff

Obviously I'd be happy to help anyone out if they came to Australia too.

I'd like to see what you guys do for fun Gun's, hunting, mudding/4wding/rock climbing. Oh i really want to go out to some sand dunes in a buggy too. Caves, anything military, beaches, boats... Seriously i'm up for anything I like to see some of the touristy stuff too i guess, get a bit of culture, but also get a bit of history.

I would love to show you around if I had time. I do have some suggestions though.
1)Go tubing down a river in New Braunsfel. There are a few places that rent you a tube and then pick you up down the river. Here's one, but there are many.Tubing on the Guadalupe River - 830-964-2450 - River Tubing on inner tubes in Texas
2) 6th street in Austin.6th Street (Austin) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
3) My wife and I can take you horseback riding if that's more your style.

If you come around west Tx, I will show you around. We can take the boat out, and drink some beer. There's lots of stuff to do. Let me know if you plan to be around the Abilene area.

ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! We have an AMBER alert for a lost Aussie!!! Instead of going to Mckinney Roughs in between Austin and Bastrop, our guest has gone to Mckinney, Texas. Mckinney, Texas is north of Dallas. Any members up there looking to help a fellow ford fan out you can call him at 512-516-9363

Wow. I guess that's the trouble with those GPS things we rely on too much. Glad you got lost though. I enjoyed meeting you today.

Hopefully next Saturday we can try again. It was a good thing that he wasn't able to make it. My wife had been riding with some friends and the heat really got to the horses. A friends horse started too colic and had to go to the vet.
