Alternator ?

i have a 96 f150 with the 4.9l has a factory 95amp alt. can i upgrade to the 130amp? i know there shaped a little different. thanks

i swapped it and it works fine....my amp still makes the volt guage bounce...guess its to power full...

What amp?

No such thing as too powerful of an amp.

Get a multimeter and check actual voltage. Dont rely on stock gauge.

i have a 10in sony sub with a 1200w amp and when the bass hits hard you see the guage drop...i listen to classic rock and metal
