Freeze Plug?

Freeze Plug?
I know it's out here, but I'm about to head out of town and I needed a really quick answer. When deleting the EBPV, can you tap/plug that as well as the 1/4" plug you use in the hole the actuating rod came through? And if so, what size is it? Thanks - I just trust plugs more than freeze plugs, and if some guys have said use a snap ring over it, it's basically permanent anyways, right? Thanks.
