Best place for 7.3 injector rebuilds

Truck has 200k and injectors have never been touched, where's the best place to send them for rebuild. I'm not looking for big hp, just stock rebuild.

I just had mine gone through at River City Diesel here in town couple weeks ago. Found I had 2 bad plunger and barrel assemblys. Idles quiter and much smoother with new parts and internal orings.

Jim at Rosewood (DIY-injectors.com) did mine earlier this spring. I called and scheduled ahead. Pulled the injectors one weekend, shipped them out and he got them back to me in time to be re-installed the following weekend. Only 1 week of down time so I was pretty happy about that.

Not sure. What I did was call Jim and schedule a good time to work into his schedule. Then I said I wanted him to check them out and tell me what they need. I ended up with 8 new nozzles, lift pin springs and of course new o-rings. Plus the poppet valves and armature plates were checked and the body machined to fix any that were out of spec. He then tested them to see if they held high pressure oil and shipped them back to me. I am not sure if he balanced the fuel flow but with new nozzles that may not have been required. (guessing on that last part...)

All I know is that now my truck runs very very smooth. At idle, in gear with my foot on the brake there is virtually no shaking or vibrating at all. Acceleration is nice and powerful through the gears and I have no hesitation like I did before I had them rebuilt.

My injectors had 241k miles on them and 7 of the nozzles were flowing way lower than normal. The 8th nozzle was split (thus the reason why I pulled them out and sent them in for rebuilding..)

I went with stock nozzles and stock specs. I could have gone with stage 1 nozzles for the same price but I was satisfied with the power I had when I first bought my truck so I was hoping to have that same level of performance with rebuilt injectors. This may sound crazy, but I think my truck runs better now with 250k miles and rebuilt injectors than it did with 60k miles and original injectors.

So, it's safe to say that I am very satisfied and thankful for Rosewood's help regarding my injector issues.

If that's true, I'm crazy as well!! I know my truck runs better now at 250k with what's been done than it did when it's stock. I need to live tune again to tweak a few things, but I love driving it.

Most important thing is to have the injectors flow tested after they are rebuilt. I bought a set of rebuilt stage 1's from a "shop", and they ran like crap. I drove to Texas to live tune with Tony and he couldn't do anything with them. They smoked alot and had no power. It wouldn't pull hills around here empty without downshifting. My dad's stock 7.3L with a superchips could outpull me.
I called the shop and a few others places trying to figure out the issue. I was told they should be fine because they were just rebuilt. I finally threw up my hands and sent them to Ryan after a year of putting up with it. He put "his" nozzles on them, flow tested them and found one with a bad barrel and plunger. When I got them back, it was like I was driving a brand new truck. I could feel all the fine tuning Tony had done previously. Well worth the money spent!
