Fellas,
What all tunes does Eric at Innovative offer? I do not see this on their website. From what i've read in the forums it looks like they have: street, xtreme street, agressive street, race, and xtreme race.

In case you were wondering... "converter locked in all gears" is lots of fun on the street!
WOW! I got set up with IND' xtreme race & xtreme street tune. Very awesome....Cheezit was not exaggerating about squeeling the tires.
Question,
After toying around with a quit a few tunes. I plan on trying out the IND's xstreet tune as my daily driver. Do yall think tuning like this will shorten the life of the powertrain if you drive CORRECTLY? Obviously if you are driven at maxium capacity of tuning like this you will eventually tear something up. However, I would hope/expect if I were to continue driving as if she were stock but with one of these tunes I wouldn't be tearing up the truck any quicker. What do yall think?
I still do mine the old fashioned way: I CALCULATE it.
Mixed city/highway was estimated at 17+ on the trip from DFW to Austin, with the city in Austin. We'll see if the numbers hold. I'll have to wait a while to get a true highway run.

Another data point: Managed to get a nice highway run at 65 on cruise for about 3 hours... 16.5 or so. Fuel was untreated WalMart fuel. Not sure if it makes a difference. I suspect it will.
Jayybird, you won't have any problems running the xstreet. There are a number of members (including me) that run it as there dd. Yes your are correct if you are hot roding all the time it wouldn't be good for the truck. Then again driving like that wouldn't be good on a stock truck either.

Thanks for the suggestions and reassurance. I think the only thing that is going to tear anything up is your right foot. Keep that out of her and she should take care of you. ******* it is one thing, enjoying a little peppyness when you need it is another...i hope. I guess we'll see in the long run.
Thanks
did you check the lable at walmart's pump for that 2%bio they like to sale.
I didn't notice it on that one. Might be kind of strange, given that it was in Austin. Most places that sell bio down there (and there are a lot of them) tend to ask premium prices for it.
Haven't seen it in many places in TX, except for Pilots. TX's tax environment, plus TNRCC's anti-bio stance, makes it somewhat rare.
