Hey Bill, she is doing much better.. Not fond of the shots i have been giving her, but she is moving around lots better!

This one caught her when she was laying down. The herd pretty well demolished the snake after its attack.. Found bits and pieces of snake all around the corral and a bunch of worked up mares, LOL! She is playing more today, so I can finally get some sleep.. Whew!

It did get warm here today! Its been muggy and humid as heck! Looks like its gonna rain, but wont!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

good to hear the horse is doing OK, same thing happen to my Dad's horse when i was a kid.... he was in the San Pedro Valley Sherriff's Posse, In 1969 he served as the President. I can still remember that Big star on the side of his 64 Elcamino and the single horse trailer he used to pull.

Hey Midwest, That is a nasty looking bite. What kind of snake? Yea horses & snakes don't mix to well. I have seen a few snakes tore up by horses. I use to be a Professional Farrier.
Glad she is doing better.

We have some western diamond backs down here in the salt grass along the coast. They rarely move inland.
