1977 F150 4x4 Body Lift Questions
Ok I have a 1977 F150 4x4, I know a guy with a new body lift for sale but I need to ask a couple of questions before I get it.
Basically do I need anything besides the eight blocks and hardware?
Please dont get my post started on a suspension lift body lift battle that happens on every 4x4 website you post on.

All you are gonna get from the body lift kit will be 8 bolts, and blocks. That is all they come with. You will have to make new bumper brackets so it does not look retarted. Also you will need to buy a few odds and ends. My 3 inch needed a starter wire and brake lines from the master cylinder. Also if you have a manual you will need to extend your clutch linkage. That is all I can think of for now. Good luck.

Don't forget the gas filler neck extension if you are not running a fuel cell. Check the condition of the body bushings, it would be a good time to get new ones while you have the bolts out. Don't know about a 3" but my friend had a custom 4 inch body lift and had to trim out the opening for the 4x4 shifter for 4lo. Just some ideas to look at or think about before you have the truck half way apart and realize you need a part that needs to be ordered.
