Well we fooled around until the last minute before we decided for sure we were going to be camping.

I called this morning and got site #32.. Probably won't make it Friday unless I take off work early, but we'll be there early Saturday morning.

I still haven't decided if I am camping, guess I could come up Fri. and bring the smoker. That way the brisket could cook until it was time to eat, yum, yum! Only thing is, I would have to stay Sat night too, after a meal like that, ain't no way I'm driving home

On another thought here, Donna and I attended quite a few meetings and she became friends with the ladies that she met. It has been a little over a year since Donna passed and I have decided it is time to move on. Will the ladies accept another into the fold if I bring a lady friend along? I have met a wonderfull lady that I hope to spend a lot of time with. I just hope I can get her interested in most of the things I like to do, but the tradeoff will be, I will have to learn to love sports, oooooo!!!! that hurt just to say that Never been much of a sports fan, but......... I think she;s worth it.

I'll be pulling the Scotty in sometime early Sat morning. I'm planning on staying Sat night, Jeff, so you'll have some company anyway.
Maybe I ought to load up the back of the truck with some firewood for a campfire Sat night?

Jeff, I have 2 sites reserved for Sat. One(site 25), I'm gonna put the Scotty in, and one is a tent site(site 30)that I sorta got for the gathering.
If you're tenting it I don't see why you can't throw the tent up in that one if he has no others.

Awesome. glad to hear you can make it! So far, no one has mentioned buns or bread, or bbq sauce..
Everyone usually brings some drinks for their own crew, since everyone has different tastes..

So far we've got:

1.) tojoski - 2 adults, 2 kids -- mac+cheese, chocolate oatmeal cookies
2.) EODguyJake - 1 adult (as long as I'm not on call)
3.) mechmagcn- 1 Adult -- smoked brisket
4.) ash_flat_diesel 2 adults, 2 kids
5.) cookie88- 2 adults, 2 kids -- potato salad
6.)1996pwrstrk- 4 adults , 3 kids -- nanner pudding , a veggi tray and dip, paper plates ,napkins , plasticware, fried chicken
7.)Old_Crow-1 adult(possibly 2)
8.)bill henry - 4 adults, 2 kids

That puts the count at 17 adults and 11 kids.. shapin up nicely

I've been working on getting my camper ready all week. Last night I fire up the A/C and red wasps are coming out of the vents!

Now I've got to track these jokers down...

God willing, we'll be there early Saturday morning..
