I still haven't decided if I am camping, guess I could come up Fri. and bring the smoker. That way the brisket could cook until it was time to eat, yum, yum! Only thing is, I would have to stay Sat night too, after a meal like that, ain't no way I'm driving home
On another thought here, Donna and I attended quite a few meetings and she became friends with the ladies that she met. It has been a little over a year since Donna passed and I have decided it is time to move on. Will the ladies accept another into the fold if I bring a lady friend along? I have met a wonderfull lady that I hope to spend a lot of time with. I just hope I can get her interested in most of the things I like to do, but the tradeoff will be, I will have to learn to love sports, oooooo!!!! that hurt just to say that Never been much of a sports fan, but......... I think she;s worth it.
My wife say's that's awesome, bring her along and I agree . We are going to bring nanner pudding , a veggi tray and dip, paper plates ,napkins , plasticware. Dad and Jean are riding with us and Jean is making Fried Chicken.................
I think that is fantastic Jeff. Congratulations! I don't think any of us will forget Donna.......but you have to keep life in the rear view mirror. I say bring her.....willing or not
I'll be pulling the Scotty in sometime early Sat morning. I'm planning on staying Sat night, Jeff, so you'll have some company anyway.
Maybe I ought to load up the back of the truck with some firewood for a campfire Sat night?

Sounds like a plan, we're planning on heading into Mt. View that evening and check out the fiddle playin contest.
Jeff, I have 2 sites reserved for Sat. One(site 25), I'm gonna put the Scotty in, and one is a tent site(site 30)that I sorta got for the gathering.
If you're tenting it I don't see why you can't throw the tent up in that one if he has no others.

Well, something has come up, I won't be there Fri night, but still intend to be there with a smoked brisket in tow Sat. Don't even know yet if I'll be able to stay Sat night
