Question what parts do i need to reattach yoke onto 86 sterling axle?

I am going to post a couple pictures below of what I have. Somebody told me I could just get a nut and have it tightened down to 150lbs and call it good.

But I am wondering if in this state, can I do that, or do I need other parts besides a new nut? Like that seal on the axle side, can I replace that from the outside?

Thanks for any info!

you can replace the pinion seal from the outside, just pry the old one out and hammer a new one it... i would replace the nut and make sure you tighten it properly, jack the rear of the truck up and tighten the nut until you feel a little drag on the pinion, kinda like preloading a wheel bearing.
