Back home
I got back home a couple nights ago and damn is it nice to be here! My wife and kids picked me up at the airport (kids didn't know...) and I got to drive my truck home. This was the first time since January that I have driven the new truck and back then, I was still babying it to break it in... So this was the first time I really got to get on it a bit.
The acceleration is smooth and I can really feel the torque. The trans has long since "adapted" and shifts awesome and smooth. I really love the stock exhaust note on this thing too. I've been driving my Mustang around a lot too since I got home and the quite cab and comfy seats are really a nice change from the raw Muscle car feel (though I do appreciate that too...).
And the best part is, it still has the new car smell!

I've been out spreading the wealth between the new truck, my Mustang and my motorcycle, as well as jumping head first into a lot of much needed yard work. Good to be home and have nothing better to do than fiddle and get stuff accomplished.
This was my 4th tour overseas, and by far the easiest, albeit longest, so the transition is pretty easy for me. It only took me about 2 days to get used to the time difference. Thanks for all the support.
