I am puting in a shift kit in my C-6 question on shifts

I need to know what I should set the transmiision up for shifting between 1-2 short and smooth, Shorter and firmer and Firm those are my chooses for the shift . This truck is for road use screwing around some pulling and driveing in snow .
Here is what I have done so far I have the 400 block bored 30 over with Tim Meyer’s pistons. We went with the CHI 2V 190 cc heads with a 65 cc combustion chamber. The cam is comp cam Xtreme energy XE262H along with Scorpion roller rockers. Intake is a weiland . The carb I am useing is a 750 holley vacum secoundaries . I toped that off with a 1969 -1970 mustang shacker ram air hood assembly . Rear end has 3:55

I think you'd be better off in a gas thread... this is competition diesel and not many C6's are used.
Mostly E4OD, 4R100, 4R110 autos...
