Transfer case problem
<HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d1d1e1; COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->My friend has a 1987 F-250 V8 automatic, that will not let us shift the transfer case. It was working then we went to tow a truck out of the blackberries locked the hubs in tried shifting and then the trouble started. We have checked the linkage and it looks fine. We have tried it in neutral, park, running, not running, from time to time we have been able to get it back into 4 low. When you shift the gear shift into park and the truck is running it grinds like crazy. Any ideas we would appreciate. THX David
