Radio in escape won't turn on after rain

My friend left the windows open in my 2003 ford escape while it was raining, and now my radio won't work.. Nothing shows up on the led(I think?) part where the time and radio station are supposed to show.. The only thing that works on the radio is that when you turn the headlamps on, the numbers, buttons, and volume dial light up.. Will the radio need to be replaced? Or is there something I can do to fix it

Did you check the obvious, like fuses that feed the radio?

Perhaps a "drying out" period will help. It worked for my dad's cellphone when he dropped it in his water system tank. I left in on the dash of my truck in 90* weather. At the end of the day, it dried out and has worked flawlessly since.

Lol :P I checked the BTN2 fuse, which does the radio, and all the inside lights, and it's fine.. I guess i'll let it dry out. Thanks
