Bucking and hesitation fixed?
I've been having a problem with my 1986 f150 4x4 302 aod bucking and hesitating really bad. As we know, there are tons of posts on here about this issue so i never asked anyone on here about my problem. Seems as though there are many reasons on the post causing this problem as I've seen (TPS, fuel pressure issues, EEC, distributor......). Well, it seems that I've found MY problem....EGR valve. I installed a blanking plate between the EGR and the intake so the computer thinks the EGR is working and my bucking issues are totally gone. So to me, that whole system is outa here!! I'm going to plug and cap everything off and junk the pump.
So I just thought I would follow up with my results for someone else!! Thanks for all the help with this forum, you guys rock!!
