1960 F100 Questions
Hello All , I'm re-piping the brakes on my 60 F100, My question is what secures the pipe to the front-wheel brake hose as it passes through the frame rail. There must be some sort of fitting to prevent movement and secure the line to the frame.
Also, I noticed the cab sits noticeably lower than the bed, the crease in the body-metal doesn't line up. I'm guessing it is the cab-mounts, as the bolts are loose and the rubber blocks are deteriorated. Any idea where to get 4x4 60 F100 mounts ?

On my 1960 F100 4x2, the front brake hoses are made so that they tighten up onto the frame as they pass thru with a shoulder on one side and a nut on the other. I would think the cab mounts for a 4x4 would be the same as a 4x2, LMC truck, a catalog outfit/online store, prolly has them as many other mail order places.

Hey ElJIm
Cab to frame mounting kit at Dennis Carpenter P/N B7C-5400-S . This is for 57-60. It doesn't distinguish between 4x4 or 2 wheel drive. I suppose it would all be same. $50. Pad and replacement bolts.
