OT: My Fathers Day Gift (one of them)
I know that this may seem a little insignificant to some of you, but I wanted to share what some of my kids did for me this Fathers Day.
Four of my six kids worked on this project, obviously some more than others, but it was driven by my older three children (ages 17-21), and my 12yo son worked pretty hard on it too. [My 13yo son got me a gift card to Five Guys so I can pick up a lunch at no cost while I'm on the road, and my youngest daughter (10) made a picture frame with lots of beautiful sea shells I picked up on one of our morning "beach walk dates" while we were on vacation several weeks ago, and then she put in the frame a pic of the two of us from that same vacation.]
List of detailing work done on my truck:
Entire exterior body washed, clay-barred, and waxed.
All chrome polished.
Headlights polished.
Full interior detailing, including inside the door jams (cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, leather treatment, and glass cleaning).
Wheels polished.
Tires scrubbed and gelled.
Vehicle driven to a local cement plant for some pictures so I can remember this special demonstration of how much my kids love me in spite of how I am too aften less than an ideal father.
Here are the pics.

Thanks, guys, and you're absolutely right, Jason... I KNOW I am blessed well beyond what I deserve, and am very grateful.
The biggest problem is that I have to drive my truck every day anywhere from 25-125 miles depending on my call route, and I just don't want to get it dirty. My oldest did such an excellent job on the clay bar and waxing that it almost gives me the heebie-jeebies every time I touch the door to close it because it is SOOOOoooooo smoooooooth and slick feeling!!
