back to thread question yes I've done it. 6.9 w/banks turbo in a 78 3/4ton 4x4, not to bad of a swap had to masage firewall for turbo down pipe be w/turbo got about 80,000 mi blowing smoke and blowby worn rings because of turbo. about 17-18 mpg - 10-11 loaded
