4R100 PWM and DP-Tuner
I just rebuilt my 4R100 and installed the tugger kit and a trucool max cooler, but I didn't replace the PWM valve with the non-PWM when I had the pump apart. Unfortunately, I am now wishing that I had, but I'm not about to pull it back out to do just that! So, since I am planning to get a DP-Tuner in the near future, I was wondering if the DP tunes would help to mitigate this slow lockup from the PWM? I assume that the pulse width is controlled by the PCM and thus can be manipulated by the tune?

I have had the TransGo lock up valve for almost 4 yrs and really like it. Basicly, same other mods as you. The lock up valve does make the TC feel like another firm shift and I like that. I am trying to remember how it was before with the DP tunes and the PWM valve. I do recall the tunes did improve the lock up shift quality.
