I have a f350 7.3 1999. I'm having problems with my auto trans, it shifts good with all gears but od shfits really hard, can anyone help with this problem, or tell me how I can fix or things to try.

Did this just start occuring or has it been doing it for sometime? Do you run a chip or programmer? Stock trans?

 

THis problem started about 90 days ago but has gotten worse and now it has got were it really hits hard. No chip, and stock trans

 

I bought this truck new and the truck now has about 250k miles, never had any problems with trans before.

 

Hows the tranny fluid level?

 

fluid is at ok level, it has been alot of miles on fluid.

 

Sometimes high-mileage trannys get a sticky, erratic line pressure modulator valve.
