You may have to modify the plug when you go to hook it into the harness in the kick panel. I did because I have the overhead console, so keep that in mind. I see you have an XLT Chris, do you have the overhead computer?
The one from the kit has only 2 pins
The one on my truck had 10 pins. It wasn't a big deal, just had to splice the wires from the kit into the factory harness. Just a heads up.
Good to know, I don't have the overhead console and I believe the listing said it was for a non-console truck. Anywho, thanks for the heads up. I already tapped into that plug for running lights along my cab steps and power for my under-dash gauges so I'll have to re-do them when I get to it. Basically, the overhead lights need power and ground so shouldn't be too hard.
MAN, what a good deal on a set of lights! I've been wanting to add the cab lights ever since I got my truck, but haven't ran across a deal like that. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Good deal. A touch cheaper that what i found mine for.. Mine still sitting on my computer desk. Lights and harness. Not sure what i am more chicken with, The holes or messing with the headliner.
Nice win there Chris. I really like mine but they were factory installed. I would be really hard pressed to do all that drilling too. lol

I'll have to drink up my nerve AFTER I measure, measure, measure...
The headliner doesn't look too bad. I had it partially down chasing a bare wire issue on my map lights.
I ordered the dodge lights and it only came with a ground and power. no connector. Can i just tap into the same wire that i used for my gauge illumination lighting? Its the wire under the dash thats instructed to use in the diesel manor gauge install instructions. I just dont want to overload that wire. I already have my white face glow gauges hooked into that point too.
You don't want your clearance lights to dim so I would tap into the connector in the passenger kickpanel where the OEM harness would normally plug into. If you have a test light, stick it into the connector with your lights on and find the one that powers the lights. It would be one of the middle plugs in the connector.
Hate to say it and don't harp on me too bad but I put the Dodge led lights from Recon on my truck. Just because I liked the chrome base and lower profile look. Here are a couple pics day and night.
