I have a 95 F250 with power door locks and the passenger door will not unlock or open with the key, the button or pulling the handle. It's happened before and I was able to get it open, I inspected everything and lubed everything and it worked fine for a few months, Well I assume anyways I rarely lock the doors. It's don it again and now I broke the handle off which is what I used to get it open while pushing the button before.

Anyone else have a problem with this or have any ideas on what I can do to repair it? and is there a source for the actuater and latches other than a junkyard?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

So I think what I'm going to do is harvest ALL of the door latch/lock parts out of a 94 half ton and swap EVERYTHING out.

 

Sounds like the only part you really need is the latch assy itself, something must be bent or badly worn on the one in it now.

Good lube job only masking the problem for a short time.

 

It ended up being the outer door handle button, the linkages were a little scabby, replaced that and the latch itself, it had some damage from me trying to get it open, re-used old actuater for power door locks as it was in better shape, everything works great now.
