Factory Fog Light harness and instructions

Anyone interested in adding fog lights to a non equipped Expy or F150, I have a factory harness with instructions and the necessary relay. Let me know if interested. My truck was prewired from Ford, so did notneed these parts when I added them to my '98 Expy. Known good for '97 and '98 models, may work on newer too.

Thanks,

I'd been looking to add the factory fog lights onto my 97 4X4, which didn't come with them. If you still have 'em, how much do you want for them?

I just intalled a set of the factory fog lights on my 98 Expy XLT. It had the black blanks behind the holes in the bumper. When I looked under the bumper, the harness was above each brackett. All I did was grab the LH and RH fog lights and headlight switch from a wrecked '97 F150 4x4. Once I replaced the switch and added the lights, the suckers worked. Yet check behind the bumper first for the harnesses.

Same here . . .had everything but the lamps and switch. Sorry, but the harness was nabbed on Ebay about 4 weeks ago. Hope you find that you do not need it after all!

I just installed the factory fog lights onto my 98 Expedition and it was prewired but I cannot get any power to the lights throught the factory wiring. In your instructions, does it mention any procedure to get power to the light? My light switch has the pull out feature for the fog lights.
Thanks

Chances are that even if the headlight switch pulls out it will not work. Mine pulled out also, but the circuit was not built into it. There needs to be a fog light emblem that lights up when you pull it out - lets you know they are on. I tried that too so I could sell the switch that came with the kit, but it did not work.

In the kit you bought, what did it contain? If it had a relay, did you install it and in what slot? I spoke with the Ford Dealer and their is a different light switch $89.00( wish I would have known before I bought the factory lights). I looked in my relay distribution box and there's one socket left open(left side-far bottom. Wasn't sure if that's for the fog lights or not?

Thanks

The kit came with a relay, harness, light switch, and lights. I installed the lights, tried them and they did not work. I installed the switch and Voilla! They worked fine. The instructions wanted the relay to mount on the passenger side firewall, under that black plastic cover, drill a hole and mount it with a self tapping screw that was included. I looked there and saw no relay in that position, so it must be elsewhere. I would bet that if you swap the headlight switch they will work.
