vrsc, I think you commented on this earlier, but still curious about the loss of power due to the bigger wheels. I have the 3.31 gears in mine and I want to go with a 37 inch tire, its got plenty of power now but am i going to really notice it when I put on 37's? I know you said you have the 3.55 gears, but how bad is it going to be for me?

That's about the nicest KR out there. Carefully modded, it really makes a difference in the new gen SDs. I was on the fence on that grille until seeing this version on that truck, it's awesome. Obvious quality in all the upgrades, you should win a prize. GOOD JOB.

yep, 3.55 gears. I honestly don't feel much lag at all with these tires. the engine and tranny combo are a winner. You may feel some lag with the 3.31 with 37's but i don't think it'll be too much.

Your truck is the sharpest truck I've seen since I joined FTE! The mods look very clean and professionally done.

Thanks for sharing the pictures!!!

Incredible truck. The photography could use some improvement though. Whatever; roughly how much dollar-wise do you have tied up in that truck? Just curious to get a ball-park figure on how much someone would be looking at to do something similar. What kind of mileage are you getting so far?

I am no means a professional photographer! I am sure if I was, I wouldn't be able to afford this truck and customize it the way I have. Please feel free to
grab some photos from this post and make them look better with Photoshop or give me some ideas to how I can improve my picture taking skills for future pictures.
As for listing how much I have spent on this truck, I am sure anyone intereted in duplicating this will be able to price the items themselves, I am not one to brag about about how much money I spent on things. I will say though that everything I added to this truck is top quality and by no means did I skimp to save a buck.
I lost an average of 3 mpg from stock and yes, I have hand calculated every fill up and compensated for the tire size difference in my calculation. I'll have to wait till I have a tuner to calibrate my speedo because for isn't able to do it (at least yet)to this truck.

Just took a look at your 05 KR. Another awesome truck man. You have a knack for high quality mods without making the truck look like ebay regurgitated a bunch of cheap chrome all over it. You might want to send a few pics off to Fords' design team...give them an idea or two.

I will pull these images into lightroom and massage 'em a little.

You have an awesome truck there...it would be great to get the raw images (not jpeg) to work with.

VRSC, did you think about or look into putting a higher stall torque converter?

I kinda woulda mind giving mine like another 400rpm of stall.
