Tux is Back - ('67 f100 Pics)
hey guys, its been a while since I've worked on Tux or posted about her. I figured I'd post up this tread to show anyone who hasn't seen, and those that haven't heard from me in a while.
I was detailing/buffing my truck this week getting it ready for my friends wedding.
I have a lot of memories in this truck as I built it in when I was 17. Drove it to high school proms, and then got married with it. Well the story doesn't end so well as my 'high school sweetheart' decided to cheat and call it quits. I'm almost done with the nasty emotionally crushing divorce, right now. I have decided to keep my truck and continue makng memories for (hopefully) a long time to come.
The motor is the original matching 352 bored and stroked to 390. Mildly built. I am planning on a making it a heads/cammed 410 or possibly 428 this spring/summer.
The trans is a NV4500 5-speed overdrive. WillyB wrote a write-up on my swap years ago, in the tech section on FTE.
Driveline is Dana 60 rear w/ Moser axles, 4:10, Detroit Locker. Custom driveshaft, 1-ton Spicer knuckles.
This summer upgrades will be (the motor) and front 73-79 disk brakes. Sorry the pics aren't the best cause of the fluorescent lighting in my garage. I'll get some better ones soon. Enjoy

Thanks guys!!
It's small(er), 24'x28', but gets the job done nicely. Dual heaters, insulated etc, lighting/electrical, 240v etc... I want to do garage floor coating here pretty soon.
Nope, no fancy paint, I am just careful always wipe off fluid when I top it off. It's never leaked fluid, must have a good gasket on the cap....

hey guys, just won a show trophy this weekend at the Rocky Mountain Truckfest 2010 at Bandimere Speedway.
Been working on Tux a lot this last month. DJM 3" lowering kit, poly bushings all 4 corners, and disk brakes kit... Thing stops on a dime. Has never rode or handled better than it has now! It's like a new truck...
Also did a little racing... Went to 2nd round, but got rained out..
