i parked the truck last night drove perfect like it always does, the next morn started it up backed it out of the driveway went to put it in drive acted like it was in neutral. the day before all this my truck wouldnt start that turned out to be the neatral saftey. for ****s and giggles i replaced the neatral safty again its not the problem, then i reset the truck by taking the positive off the battery and connecting it to the ground i even turned the lights on to fully drain the system (still nothing). Now i just droped the tranny pan fluids good filters up in place no shavings or burnt smell.i tryed un pluging the neutral switch to see if i got anything but nothing can any body help could my pump just go or the converter like this (no sign) help me

 

Ive messed with a dodge (sorry i hate them to) that trannys acted up and found ATF leaking into the main computer/brain electrical connector that was shorting things out making it act funny with shifting and what not. I dont know anything bout this new of Ford Automatic transmissions though if they have similarlities or not in that regard or if they do or dont have a cable even everything ive ever messed with of that era were 6 speeds.

 

Having the same problem now. How did it work out for you? I know this thread is old but giving it a shot.
