My big sister and brother in law decided to have a baby. She's 26 and I'm 16. I've been looking forward to being called uncle for about 9 weeks. Well....today I found out that she's having a miscarrage and she's getting emergency surgery right now. I feel like crap.

 

I empathize with you.
I am an Blood Uncle 7 times, and a called Uncles by at least 20 others.

It is really tough on compassionate people o go through what you are talking about.

Let's hope your Sister totally recovers from this situation.

 

I'm praying for your sister, her emotions are ten-fold yours, your day will come soon enough.

so sorry to hear of the loss in your family. time will heal. my sister in law had 2 misscarriges before she was able to carry full term. be sure to be there for her! god bless you and your family

 

No offense taken.........She's outta surgery and just woke up about 30 mins ago, she's been in and out so we'll be going over there to visit her in about 2 or so hours. They had to take out her right falopian (however you spell that) tube because it was all inflamed and there was nothing that the doctor could save. The left side was fine thank god, and she'll still be able to get pregnant. My Sister & I are VERY close, I just hope she's ok. She's in good hands though.

 

My sister's fine. I just got back from the hospital and she was still geeking on that "good stuff". LOL, I wonder what they gave her to knock her out. She's fine, and ate a little bit of chicken and macaroni and cheese. The nurse walked in smiling and said "MMMMMM girl that smells GOOOD!" It's all good now!

 

Jon, I'm sorry to hear the news of your sister. I am glad to see she is doing better now! I have a feeling you are the type of brother that cares deeply for her and I'm sure she is in good hands.
