Yeah me too Dave. I felt it on the way home from Clearwater. Under light acceleration its hardly noticeable but with the camper on and moderate acceleration you feel it pretty good. You think fluid change will help at all?

It can help. Make sure you use the friction modifier as well!

I figured it was worth a shot. I picked up the modifier at Ford today and 4 quarts of synthetic gear lube will be here in the a.m.

Can't hurt to try. Worst case I guess is the fluid get's wasted. But even if it still does it some, you can drive if you want. But the end result is still inevitable...

Good point Jay! ha ha ha!

Depends on what it looks like Troy. Sometimes you can just do the clutch packs, sometimes it's a total overhaul.

It wasn't the right weight anyway but I couldn't resist. That really sucks you are having issues.

I did not realize Tom was having problems with his either.

Yeah, he's had issues for a while...

Take a look at the wear pattern on the internal gears Troy, also look at the ring and pinion teeth to see if the are shaving the edges. They should be flat, not sharp. Also pay attention to how much material is in the bottom of the housing. It won't drain out, so you can actually wipe it and see what it looks like. Take a pic or two if you'd like. Then I can peak at them.
