Thanks for the comments!

As for the column - I do, and it's 99% removed from the truck as of this past weekend. Auto column with the shift and gear indicator on it.

Uhh, I haven't started looking into pricing or anything because I wasn't going to sell off the parts till my truck was done. I have no need for this column, though, as my truck is a manual. If you want to check shipping costs, it'd come from 04418. Make me a fair offer and we'll see what we can do. :-)

Looks great man, i plan on doing a cab swap soon, I see how you did the first one outside with the piece of wood, how did that work? Any damage? Tips?

The time you took it off in the shop how did you use the engine hoist to do it?

I plan to do mine sometime soon, but i will be putting a crew cab on (going to be difficult) any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

Nice write up so far.

Do you have any other detailed pictures showing how you used the engine hoist to remove the cab from the frame?

Looks like you're doing a great job on the restoration so far!

What paint did you use o the frame, etc...?

Also do you think the dust shields are worth using on the front end? I didn't buy them originally but I'm thinking about getting them and putting them on before the truck is finished.
