The Official -HIGHWAY- MPG Poll

The other poll is combined MPG. I thought a dedicated HIGHWAY poll would be good, too.

First choose your average HIGHWAY MPG,
THEN choose your method of calculation!

Then click Vote.

This is a NON-towing poll. But you can post something about towing if you want.

Make a post if you have any aftermarket equipment. So when you vote in the poll and you have something extra you want to add in your post then simply make it like this:

1. Mileage posted
2. Year, cab config., drivetrain config
3. aftermarket equip that contributed to the MPG improvement/unimprovement

yeah...something like that...

This is a public poll. The third colum of the poll has numbers. If you want to see who all choose a particular MPG number just click on that number and you'll se everyone's name. If you have a question for that user then use the PM or email function. Pretty cool, huh!

12 MPG

See sig for configuration plus single-in, dual-out exhaust.

And, since I didn't vote completely - hand calculated.

Ken,
I can't go back and click on the calculation. Reckon you can add that for me?

This is my first post and i must say this is just what my wife and i were looking for. We were wondering this as we are getting to take a road trip from K.C. to Vegas for a wedding. By the way i hand calculated mine to 16. Dynomax ultra flow and a K&N filter. Oh ya real light foot. 2002 4x4

welcome to FTE and our v10 fun area, you will find we have fun, help each other as best as we can, o yes some of us tend to bust brass a little. but most find we have a motor that sales people tend to b's on to try and push a over priced smoker for.by saying it's not what it is.

It is like driving you couch down the road.

15 or better, being very easy with it, keeping it below 75MPH. Once I break 80, it goes downhill pretty quick.

16+ with the cap/topper on it.

4x4
Supercab
3.73 gear
265/75r16 or 235/85r16, usually running at least 60lbs in the front and more in the rear.

I screwed up voting, it's all hand-calculated.

I got 16.5MPG once, coming back from Upstate NY with a dislocated shoulder (and driving!). Have been able to get 16+ again a few times, totally empty.

2005 4x4
crew cab
4.10s
285 tires
No mods and I drive it with no regard as to the mileage I get. 14 hwy. If I drive real careful I can get 15, so what's the point? I just enjoy it!

2003 4wd XLT V10 with auto, supercab, 3.73 and 285/75 BFG ATs. Just turned 35K miles.

Doing 65/70 mpg it gets a little over 14mpg. If I kkep it under 60mph and baby it I can get 15mpg but not often enough to be normal.

2002 Ford Focus
49,000 KMS
Sedan
Stock tires
Auto
31 MPG highway - Hand calculated

How's that for a BSEG!?

Check sig for truck specs, no mods. Average 12 with lead foot, but have gotten 14.5 with conservative (for me) driving.

Highway-mpg

My 2003 f-250 s/cab, 2 wd has 3.73 gears, banks headers, catback, mac cold air, hyper-tech programmer 87 oct prgram, accufab t/body,t/body spacer,16.5 to 17.0 with the c/control on at 70mph,This truck makes 273hp at 4200rpm and 363pounds of torque at 3200rpm.The truck makes 360 pounds of torque from 2600rpm to 3800.We made the runs in 3rd gear, so trying to load the motor below 2600 would cause the trans to doen shift. I feel if we could load the motor sooner the torque would still be in the 330 to 340 range at 2200 rpm.If we try to run the trans in 2nd gear there is a spike in the power graph whice makes the hp and torque numbers to high.I have had two power strokes before this and would take this truck over both of them.
