Exhaust on 02 F250

I have an 02 F250 with a 4" straight pipe exhaust. I love the sound i get out of it but i want it louder and i have heard alot of 7.3's that have that big rig sound to them. How could i make it a little louder and maybe get the big rig sound. Aeroturbine?

I have the aeroturbine with the internal resonator and it soungs great but I know it is not what you are looking for if you want it louder. If you already have straight pipe with the muffler delete the only way to make it louder is to shorten the pipe, dumping the exhaust sooner and closer to the engine.

I just dumped my exhaust before the rear axle with a muffler and it sounds pretty wicked when your on the skinny peddle.

you have a magnaflow 4" w/a muffler, the muffler should be a straight threw style muffler already.

Time for a 5 inch exhaust set up coupled to some stacks. That will be a tad bit louder...

You could weld a peice of pipe inside the muffler so its straight piped and looks good for inspection

Hahahaha yeah here in midland all they do is look under and say yeah its there and go on with it. that is pretty clever about puttin the pipe in it. Going 5 in you wouldnt be losing to much back pressure will you?
