2002 4.6L 4x4 white smoke

Hey all.

I had a 2000 f150 xlt 4x4...I loved the truck 280k plus miles on it...I would still have it but some ladie plowed into the side of me...Her insurance company issued me a check for 6500. I bought a 2002 with 85k on it...clean well kept truck...the only issue i have with it is, if i site idleing for more than 15 mins white smoke comes out of the tailpipe...it has a aftermarket exhaust but i dont think that should effect it much....If anyone has any idea were to start or what to look for i would be greatfull...thanks much John.

P.S. the smell kinda smells like oil but i am not sure.

black smoke is excess fuel, white smoke is burning oil.

White "steamy" smoke is coolant. Oil smoke has a slight bluish color to it.
