radiator leaking

noticed my radiator leaking but now i have a radiator that came with the truck which is from a 97 psd now when i looked at the one it came with it has no brackets on the side but i look at the one in the truck and it looks like it has brackets on the side, the one it came with is 30 1/2 wide the one in my truck is 31 3/4 ? now whats wrong here?

I think that the brackets can be switched from one to the other if they are both Ford radiators. Size wise, I don't know.
