HI maybe someone can help I have a 2001 ford expedition . The intake manifold was just changed. Now with this new one on there is a vibration and ticking now in the gas pedel to the point it numbs your foot lol this is my wife car. told her she was crazy but it does the same to my foot. You can hear this noise also from out side. At first thought it was valve train but its not. SO I put my stethoscope up to the intake and its loud there. Before I start change things were should I start? EGR ? That what im almost thinking it is. Is there any baffle or check valve in the egr system that could cause this.

Almost any sound that you hear from the intake manifold is being telegraphed there from somewhere else in the engine. You need to search further with the stethescope and narrow it down.
