Bellhousing

A while back i saw a post of someone had put a wrap of some kind on the bellhousing,are am i just dreaming,what is it for.

It was most likely in Rubberduck's sled pull thread. It is protection in case the clutch flies apart.

Yep, bellhousing blanket. Pretty much just for race/sled pull applications where you are running a lot of power and pulling something really heavy which could cause your clutch to grenade.

Yeah, I've heard of clutches grenading and pieces slicing through the bellhousing and up through the cab floor.
